Why the cold

Nothing else
works this fast.

Three minutes of extreme cold moves blood to your core and back out again. That is the whole mechanism — and it is why people who hate cold keep booking it anyway.

Before you come

The questions we get

For most healthy adults, yes — the session is short and your core temperature barely moves. We screen for a handful of conditions first, including pregnancy, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiac conditions and cold-triggered disorders. If anything on that list applies to you, talk to your doctor before booking.

The chamber runs far below anything you have stood in outdoors. The air is bone dry, though, which is why three minutes is tolerable when three minutes in cold water would not be. You are dressed, you are moving, and staff are with you the whole time.

Dry underwear, plus the gloves, socks and clogs we provide. Everything has to be dry — damp fabric against skin is the one thing that makes the cold bite. Remove jewellery and anything metal.

For soreness and training recovery, two to three times a week is the usual rhythm. For a specific goal, we would rather talk it through than sell you a number over the internet.

There is a deep cramping ache when the needle finds the band, and then it releases. Most people describe it as strange rather than painful. Expect soreness for up to a day afterwards, the way you would after a hard set.

Yes, and most regulars do. Cryotherapy then red light is the most common pairing. Sauna and pool work better after the cold rather than before it.

No. Everything is bookable as a single session. Membership only makes sense once you are coming often enough that it saves you money, and we will tell you when that is.

Call us. We keep the schedule by phone so we can ask the couple of questions that decide whether a slot is right for you, especially on a first visit.
